do you have any good suggestions for films to see? i never really know where to start looking for the types of things i want to watch, but lately i think i want road films and nature/travel documentaries and perhaps new wave french

Darjeeling Limited is pretty decent ...:\ not the best. I liked it mainly in particular with the artistic aesthetic in it.
I think you may like The Painted Veil :), featuring and directed by Edward Norton. Soundtrack is beautiful.

aw i'm adding both of them to my list! it may be a while until i actually get to watch them, but my sister and i got a netflix account last night and we are geeking out making a wonderful queue :giggle:
ooh i liked darjeeling a whole lot, actually. schwartzman always makes me smile, and the colors are beautiful (: i just watched the trailer for the painted veil and the scenery looks so beautiful !
aha! this is very funny you mentioned it because the first thing that got added to our netflix (the reason for my nerding out and wanting suggestions) was the long way down dvd where charley and ewan mcgregor travel together. i'm pretty excited about it :giggle:
